Groundbreaking Ceremony Held on Tuesday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m.
Students and staff at Maranatha Christian Center will soon set sail with a new 13,000 square foot student center. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Tuesday, March 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Maranatha to launch the center where students can enjoy being students. All students, administration, staff, many parents, and those involved in the design and construction of the new addition were present. Everyone brought their own shovel and everyone had an opportunity to help "dig"!
The new Crusader Student Center will include a media instruction classroom and lab for the secondary students, a dining area with a full-service kitchen, a 1950's style old-fashioned soda fountain area, a new and expanded Fountain of Life campus store and nutrition center, and expanded office space.
“This building is being built for our students! It will provide a fun and exciting place where they can look forward to school every day. We want our students to have a fun place of their own. With the old-fashioned soda fountain area being a large component of the center, we want the students to enjoy the era of the 1950's as much as we did in our youth,” said Pastor Don Miller and his wife Yvonne, Founders and Senior Administrators.
