Below are listed activities held during the year for you to get an idea of some of the various special opportunities we have for fellowship and fun. Check our current school year calendar for dates of upcoming activities this year, and as that date approaches, we will post more information here regarding the event. These opportunities are designed to create times for Maranatha families, and the community to enjoy fun, fellowship, and personal growth (most often with FOOD) and to get to know one another better. Gunther Toody's Cool School Night Tuesday, March 16, 2010. Come to the Arvada Gunther Toody's Restaurant (58th & Wadsworth) anytime between 4:30 pm and 9:00 pm to join the MCC family for dinner and a great time . . . all while supporting the school. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to MCC. Bring in the form (click here) that night. The more participation, the larger the donation! 


50's Family Fun Night    Friday March 12, 2010 @ 5:30 - 9:00 in the gym & Student Center. Dress in your 50's garb . . . come try your skill at hula-hoop, lip sync, sock hop, and more! Take pictures in the new "Vonnie Sue's Diner" in the new Student Center! Take a trip to the past and come for a great time of food (all-you-can-eat hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, baked beans, dessert, and beverage) and fun! Annual Open House & Spring Exhibit Thursday, April 22, 2010. Open from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm. The entire campus is open to the public! Come see what Maranatha is all about. Student work is on display in all classrooms. There will be performances in the gym by students of all ages. Awesome food and beverages available in our beautiful new Student Center and "Vonnie Sue's Diner"! Get information about next school year and also our Summer Camp program. DON'T MISS OUT!


Frosty's Gift Shop Monday, December 7 through Friday, December 11, 2009. Open from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm daily.

Crusader Gala - "December Peace": Friday, December 4, 2009 6:00 - 10:00 pm. In the Maranatha Gymnasium and Student Center. This is the 3rd annual Crusader Gala, and this year we have a special guest, Stanton Lanier, "Pianist of Peace!" Please mark your calendars now for this great event to help support Maranatha and your students! The proceeds of this special night will help provide funds for the purchase of new computer, video, and audio equipment for our Media Department; and also to help us get the new kitchen in the Student Center up and running! The cost is $30/adult for an elegant traditional Christmas dinner, and bidder privileges. This night includes both silent and live auctions. Come and do your Christmas shopping and provide a benefit to Maranatha students at the same time. If you would be able to help provide or obtain items for the silent auction, please contact Lacey Bright at laceylei@gmail.com. Annual Harvest Bake & Craft Sale Tuesday, November 24, 2009. Open from 8:00 am - 4:00 in the school Lobby. Come and shop for some delicious baked items to fill your Thanksgiving table, to save for the Christmas holiday, or for a gift for someone you love. This annual fundraiser is always a big hit!


Annual Chili Fest & Talent Night! Monday, November 9th, 2009 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Fun time for family and friends! Get your tickets for this fun night of entertainment and food. (children 2 and under are free) Price includes a delicious meal and great entertainment. If you have a special talent you would like to share, please sign up at the main office.


Noodles & Company School Fundraiser Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 4:00 - 9:00 pm. This is the second opportunity this year to have dinner and benefit Maranatha at the same time! Join us at the Noodles & Company restaurant at 80th & Wadsworth in the King Soopers shopping center. Maranatha will receive a percentage of purchases made between 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm that night. Click here to print a flyer to take with you that night! In September, the school received over $400!


Football Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser Tuesday, September 29, 2009 4:00 - 8:00 pm. Help support the Maranatha football team and get a great spaghetti dinner at the same time! Come to the Student Center any time during this event - the Maranatha football team will be serving up spaghetti, salad, and french bread! Cost is FREE - Donations will be accepted to help pay for the great new football gear.

Grandparent's Day Luncheon & Program
Friday, September 18, 2009. This event is specially hosted for the grandparents of our Pre-School children in our child care center - ages Toddlers through Pre-K. Music Program featuring our child care students at 10:30 am - Lunch served at 11:00 am.

Flea Market - Parking Lot Sale  Saturday, June 20, 2009. 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. This is the second flea market since the first was such a success. We have many new items available! One man's trash is another man's treasure!  So, as you're cleaning out the garage and closets please consider donating all of your usable items to MCC for our Parking Lot Flea Market.  It's a great way to help us purchase much-needed items to finish the awesome new Student Center!  For all of you that wanted to donate, but did not have the resources, now is a great opportunity!

We’re asking that you bring any good, usable items (toys, games, tools, clothing, household items, furniture, etc.) to the school anytime prior to the day of the sale.  We will have the parking lot sale on Saturday, June 20th from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.  Come shopping and tell everyone you know! Thank you for your faithful support!

Great food will be available in our new Student Center at Vonnie Sue's Diner!


Arsenic & Old Lace Thursday, May 21, 2009 7:00 pm. This great classic will be presented by our senior class. Come for the fun. Price of admission includes a Dessert Social after the play in our new Student Center! Stay and meet the performers and get their autographs! Don't miss out on this great opportunity. Flea Market - Parking Lot Sale Saturday, May 23, 2009. 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. One man's trash is another man's treasure!  So, as you're cleaning out the garage and closets please consider donating all of your usable items to MCC for our Parking Lot Flea Market.  It's a great way to help us purchase much-needed items to finish the awesome new Student Center!  For all of you that wanted to donate, but did not have the resources, now is a great opportunity!

Mother's Day Brunch Friday, May 8, 2009 10:00 am. This event is for all Moms, Aunts, Grandmas, Big Sisters, etc. of our Toddlers through Pre-K students. Super Soup Dinner and Entertainment (Chili Fest) Monday, November 5, 2008 5:30 - 7:30 pm in the Gym. Tickets are $5.00 up through November 2nd. After that, they are $10.00. Don't miss this fun time of great chili, and talent. Talent provided by MCC Students, Staff, and Parents! This is always a hit. Sponsored by the Student Council, and the Junior Class. If you have a talent you want to share, please let Mrs. Lynch or Mrs. Shaffer know!
